Hey, I’m Laura, the founder of Pregnancy PA!
I’m a Specialist Physiotherapist with over 10 years of clinical experience, but my path into Women’s Health and Pregnancy care started in a very personal way.
Before starting my family, I worked in Musculoskeletal and Sports Physiotherapy, helping fitness enthusiasts and athletes get back to doing what they love.
But everything changed when I got pregnant with my first child.
Like most new mums, I wanted a healthy, happy pregnancy. But I also had a lot of questions:
- How could I best prepare my body for childbirth?
- How could I keep exercising while pregnant?
- How could I avoid unnecessary weight gain without compromising my baby’s health?
- And what could I do to recover properly postpartum?
The more I dug into these questions, the more fascinated I became with Women’s Health.
I went back to studying, diving deeper into pre- and postnatal care, pelvic health, and exercise.
What started as a personal quest to look after myself became a full-on professional passion – not just to care for my own health, but to help other women feel strong, empowered, and in control during their own motherhood journey.
And that’s how Pregnancy PA was born.
